A few months ago, I published an article on Medium that stimulated a lot of comments. As of today, 9 January 2025, there are 86 comments, and this is the article:

Let me start by confirming that I thank all the people who commented and disagreed with my thesis, which was:

Why replace paper with a digital device that costs and consumes much more than paper and does a little more and much less?

Don’t get me wrong.

I acknowledge that the paper doesn’t synchronize in the cloud. I also know I cannot bring years of Moleskines in my bag when I leave home. People who stressed that are right.

But this is not the point I raised.

Is reMarkable a distinctive option for a digital paper replacement?
