Almost a year ago, I wrote a quite viral (well, for my normal) article about reMarkable as an excellent but meaningless piece of technology. My query was:
Why replace paper with a digital device that costs and consumes much more than paper and does a little more and much less?
Since then, reMarkable has issued the reMarkable Pro and, now, the reMarkable Pro Move. All I wrote to convince myself that replacing paper with a digital device is just a marketing finding, well, is losing weight.
Why?
First, colors. Up to reMarkable 2, paper had the multicolor dimension that the reMarkable device lacked. Since I was a child, I could write how many colors I wanted on paper, but the reMarkable 2 limited the experience to tones of gray.
