Note-taking is an intriguing matter. It may seem like an area where there is not much more to say than the handful of methods for efficient note-taking. For example, at the end of the article, I list some notes I posted on Medium about note-taking.

On the other hand, taking notes is a gesture of the mind much more than anything else. It’s how we scaffold our worldview and learning capabilities.

You are your learning, not the information you consume

It often happens to anyone to spend hours or whole days in front of a screen consuming information. Without asking ourselves if we need that uninterrupted avalanche of information, we cannot detach ourselves from that flow that engulfs our attention.

What is left in us at the end of these nerve-wracking and, at the same time, fulfilling sessions of bulimia of information?

Nothing more than a few vague memories and the craving to start over.
