“All roses are flowers. Some flowers fade quickly. Therefore, some roses fade quickly.”

The first two statements are true. The third one is possible. The error is ‘therefore.’

“Given that All roses are flowers“ and
“Some flowers fade quickly,” nothing says that, among roses, some roses fade quickly, so “some roses fade quickly” may be true or false. Then, ‘therefore’ is wrong because there’s no logic implication. Roses could be among flowers that don’t fade quickly.

Makes sense?
